Thank you for your interest in becoming a Dog Friendly NH Verified Business!
We’re excited to connect with pet-friendly businesses that care about quality, safety, and community.

Before you apply, here’s everything you need to know about what verification means, what it allows, and the optional advertising opportunities available afterward.

🔒What is DFNH Business Verification?

To protect the integrity of our trusted group, all businesses that want to advertise or be listed on our registry must first complete our verification process.

Verification ensures that your business:

• Is registered and in good standing with the State of New Hampshire

• Carries active business insurance 

• Has the appropriate credentials or licenses for your services

• Has no known history of unethical or inhumane practices

Important: You do not need to be verified to join the group or comment.
But you do need to be verified to promote your business, services, events, or products

and to join any DFNHs Recommended Business Registry, Membership and or Business Networking Groups

✅ How to Get Verified

1. Submit proof of:

   • NH business registration 

   • Active business insurance

   • Any required licenses or certifications for your field

   • any additional certification, documentation that you think is useful or important 

2. Pay a one-time, non-refundable $20 verification fee

3. Allow up to 30 days for review

4. Once approved, you'll gain advertising access and a Moderator badge in our group, and the ability to join the registry, networking groups, advertising options and more

🛡️ Why the Moderator Badge Matters

When you’re verified, you’ll receive a Moderator badge in the Dog Friendly NH Facebook group.

This:

• Does not mean you have responsibilities (unless you want them)

• Simply shows the community that your business is verified and trusted

• Adds credibility to your posts

• Optionally lets you assist with things like approving members or flagging unverified ads

No pressure—just perks.

📢 What You Can Post as a Verified Business

Once verified, you’re allowed to post about your business in our group as yourself, following our posting guidelines.

Allowed:

• Business updates, events, seasonal services, and promotions

• Holiday greetings or fun behind-the-scenes posts

• Occasional reminders about your services

Please avoid:

• Overposting

• Repetitive content

• Spam-like behavior

We want your posts to shine—not overwhelm the group.

🚀 Optional Boosted Advertising with DFNH

Advertising is completely optional, but verified businesses can choose to take it to the next level with DFNH-crafted ads. These ads are created and shared by our team, not posted by you.

Here’s how they’re different:

• Crafted by DFNH staff with professional strategy

• Boosted across Facebook, Instagram, community groups, our website, and often email newsletters

• Shared only once per day, so your business is the only ad shown that day

• Backed by DFNH’s trusted voice and audience engagement

2. Voluntary Business Excellence Program (Coming Soon)
